The drunkenness and drugs may not have been evident but the Motley, Red White and Crue tour, had plenty of debauchery!

Motley Crue have sold millions of records worldwide and provided the soundtrack to many people’s lives. After too many years the most notorious Bad Boys in American Rock history exploded their way back in the UK. They invaded the MEN Arena on the 15th June on their Red, White & Crue, Better Live Than Dead Tour and reclaimed their crowns as the Gods Of Rock!

The Motley experience commenced with an apocalyptical clip from the ‘Disaster Movie’. Shortly after, the Big Top theme opened to the Crue parading onto the stage with a circus of crazy characters chanting ‘Shout At The Devil’: Vince appeared through the flames and announced, ‘We’re Back!’

The first set of the show was dominated from the bands first two albums, including the tracks, ‘Too Fast For Love’, ‘10 Seconds To Love’ and ‘Looks Could Kill’. The audience were in awe of the tattooed Rock Gods R‘N’R circus with ringmaster Vince and his crucial crue stepping back, as the curtain dropped, drawing the set to a close.

Reminiscent of ‘Easy Rider’ Motley opened the second set by recklessly riding Harley Davidson motorbikes onto the stage in true MC fashion for the traditional, ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’. They wasted no time kick starting the memories with breathtaking performances. Vince’s voice was still strong, solid and true delivering the ballads, ‘Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)’ and ‘Home Sweet Home’ with conviction. ‘Home Sweet Home’ was undoubtedly the jewel in the Crue’s crown.   The crowds’ arms automatically rose in unison, and lighters aloft, they sang their hearts out, making it to the second verse before any of the Crue could get an input. Vince then stripped it to its acoustic bones and the band were overcome with emotion playing on in support to the crowd. Fuelled with euphoria they belted out the hits, ‘Kickstart My Heart’, ‘Dr. Feelgood’, and S.O.S’ louder than hell.

The band returned to the stage commanding the audience to Raise Your Hands To Rock and they duly obliged. Ending the unforgettable experience with ‘Helter Skelter’ and the Sex Pistols ‘Anarchy In The UK’, the boys delivered a power pack set of classic Crue songs. It was a red hot performance.
